Let Them Be

Fascinating is how we change

Everyday, every moment

Everyone changes

They wear a facade

Which wears off with time

With time everything changes

Everything.

And when we look back

We want to live again

Live those old days once more

Hold on to those people once more

But there they are

Made into memories

Old forgotten memories.

And when they fade away

Let them fade

Let them leave you

Let them be

Remake yourself,

Make yourself

Stronger everytime

To be prepare

To lose someone the next time

WOMEN

Eyes sparkling with dreams

Minds filled with aim
Hearts full of love
Arms made of iron

A lion in disguise
A fighter hard to defeat
We are
A mother, a daughter, a sister, a wife
Yet so strong
Yet so unbreakable

A lady bird
Born without fear
Not afraid of the dark
A tough baby-bearer
Brave enough to bleed!

We cry when we want
We are not afraid to express our emotions
We are
Strong enough to stand alone
And make our voices heard

We are not afraid of pain
For we are hard enough to deal with it
We are
Much more than you know
Much more than you think!

Unadmired Truth

Truth, tell me what it means

Does it only heals?

The soul of a shattered heart

or gains

The trust of a broken start?

Truth is what you want to hear

But is it something you can bear?

You live in a world full of lies

That cheats you with innocent smiles.

Truth is what you want to see

But it’s too harsh for you and me,

For unable to bear it we’ll cry

Maybe that’s how our faith dies.

Lie is our hidden desire,

Lie is what we love to admire,

But lie is the real demon

That loves to spread its poisonous venom.

It kills you slowly

But you can’t feel,

And when it does

You can’t be healed.

But truth will save us in the end

And it’s not something whom you’d want as a friend

Maybe truth is your subconscious desire,

But it’s not something you’ve learnt to admire.

A Poem To Me From Me

What happens when a bird flies?

Does it fall and slowly dies?

Does it not get up?

Does it not try?

Does it not spread its wings to fly?

Then why do we cry?

And why do we sigh?

Why don’t we get up once again

And try?

Life is a journey

It has to end

Be steady

My dear friend!

Another Rainy Day

Walking down the streets of an unknown alley,

Lingering through the dark lanes,

With the rain soaked overcoat on him

The weather was melancholy

And so was he.

Betrayed by his true love

He stood there

Still,

His silent tears mixing with the raindrops on his face

He loved her, she did not.

Looking up he saw a girl,

A betrayed girl

Much like himself

Their eyes met,

The rain calmed down,

They fell in love

Unknowingly.
